I recently bought an Apple 30" HD Cinema Display and begun to use it with my PC w/ Asus v9999 GE (nVidia 6800) graphic card, via dual-link DVI connection. The LCD Display performs a definition of 100 ppi and grants a desktop area of 2560 x 1600 pixels at 60 Hz / 32 bit color with no hassle.
While Patrician 3 tested its default resolutions, that was OK for the 800 x 600 and 1024 x 768, but failed at 1280 x 1024... Then I added a custom resolution of 1280 x 1024 from DNA-Force 1.3.7644/Quality optimized drivers (these modified Force-Ware drivers, are the best nvidia drivers so far IMO; available at www.guru3d.com ) and now this is OK. Because I couldnt exploit the full glory of 2560 x 1600 res., at this actual 1280 x 1024, the whole scene was a bit jagged and blurry. Then I opened 8x full screen anti-aliasing and 16x anisotropic filtering; finally I added a small sharpening within the driver..Now this is my great pleasure of playing Patrician III on this 4 megapixels monitor.
My question is: Any possibility to play Patrician III on 2560 x 1600 res.? Some tweaks as editing some config files or some console commands? I reached some sources as http://www.widescreengamingfor…/forum/viewforum.php?f=32 with no results... However, I managed to play Colin McRae Rally 2005 and Need for Speed Underground 2 at 2560 x 1600 /32 bit color, all quality settings to the max. The results are unbelievable... I am thrilled.

Ich kaufte vor kurzem eine Apple 30" HD Kino-Anzeige und fange an, um sie mit meinem PC mit Asus v9999 GE (nVidia 6800) graphischer Karte, über Doppel-Verbindung DVI Anschluß zu benutzen. Die LCD Anzeige führt eine Definition von 100 ppi durch und bewilligt einen desktop Bereich von 2560 x 1600 Pixeln bei 60 Hz/32 Bit einer Farbe ohne Streit.
Wenn Patrizier II prüften seine 3 Rückstellung Auflösungen, war das für die 800 x die 600 und 1024 x 768 OKAY, aber ausgefallen bei 1280 x 1024... Dann fügte ich eine kundenspezifische Auflösung von 1280 x von 1024 von DNA-Force 1.3.7644/Quality optimierten Treibern hinzu (diese geänderten Force-Ware Treiber, sind die besten nvidia Treiber bis jetzt IMO; vorhanden an www.guru3d.com) und jetzt ist dieses OKAY. Weil ich nicht ausnutzen könnte, war der volle Ruhm von 2560 x 1600 Res, diesem tatsächlichen an 1280 x an 1024, die vollständige Szene eine gezackt und Unschärfe Spitze. Dann öffnete ich voller Schirm 8x Anti-aliasing und die anisotrope Entstörung 16x; schließlich fügte ich ein kleines Schärfen innerhalb des driver..Now hinzu, das dieses mein großes Vergnügen des Spielens patrizisches III auf diesem 4 megapixels Monitor ist.
Meine Frage ist: Irgendeine Möglichkeit, zum Patrizier II auf 2560 x 1600 Res zu spielen? Einiges zwickt als Redigieren der Akten einiger Config oder einiger Konsole Befehle? Ich erreichte einige Quellen als http://www.widescreengamingfor…/forum/viewforum.php?f=32 ohne Resultate... Jedoch handhatte ich, Colin McRae Rally 2005 und Need for Speed Underground 2 zu spielen und bei 2560 x 1600 /32 Bitfarbe, alle Qualitätseinstellungen zu benötigen zum Maximum. Die Resultate sind unglaublich... Ich werde überrascht.
